We are very happy to announce that registration is now open for the 2024 International Workshop on the Mathematics and Mechanics of Innovative Materials and Structures (M&MIMS24), to be held from July 11th through July 13th at the Mediterranea Hotel of Salerno and from July 22 through July 26, 2024 at the University of Salerno, Italy. .

This Workshop is focused on the interdisciplinary area of materials design and modeling at various length and time scales, with emphasis on innovative eco-sustainable materials, nanomaterials and nanostructures, metamaterials, and complex structures

Contributions related, but not limited, to the following areas are welcome:
• Multiscale mechanics
Nanomaterials and nanostructures
• Mechanical and acoustic metamaterials
• Innovative and sustainable materials
• Architectured materials and composites
• Granular materials and systems
• Smart materials and structures
• Microstructure engineering and modeling
• Seismic metamaterials
Waves in discrete and continuous systems

The Workshop will serve as a review meeting for the following projects, but the participation of external researchers is warmly appreciated and greatly welcomed:

PRIN-2022: "Innovative Lattice Structures and Architectured Materials for civil engineering" (ILAM), Project id: 20224LBXMZ
